In the space of Anastasia Bogomolova’s studio, Ksenia showed graphics and the sculpture “Psychophora” — a monstrous bird frozen on the border of becoming a person or imitating its surfaces. “Restless and exhausted by incessant transitivity and variability, imaginary, inorganic bodies hide in timelessness and slide beyond finding, ” the artist describes her work. Hanging object on the ceiling of the space is the “Swan Vase” from the street art Carte Blanche Festival, which was damaged and thrown into a hole in the ground, but somehow saved by the artist. The artist decided not to restore the sculpture — its torn state corresponds to the situation.
